The founder, Cornelia Meile, has extensive experience in leadership, teambuilding and conflict management. After her studies at the University of Zurich in French Literature and Linguistics, Geography and Education, she travelled extensively, among others in Kamtchatka. She is fluent in German, French and English with a good command of Russian, Italian and Spanish.
From 2000-2006, she worked as a Delegate of the International Red Cross (ICRC). These years were instrumental for learning how to establish sound professional relationships with people from different backgrounds, under sometimes very demanding and difficult conditions. In 2007, she joined the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation where she co-led the Swiss Humanitarian Aid Unit (SHA). There, she honed her skills as a leader, team manager, councillor and decisions maker. She continued to mould her pragmatic approach to crisis management and developed the training of the members of SHA, of which she remains a member when she stepped down to found her own company in 2020.
